Bexhill Choral Society was founded in 1952 and nearly 60 years later is still going strong!
Kenneth Roberts has been the Musical Director since 1996.
Past concerts have included Mozart's Requiem, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Haydn's Creation and Nelson Mass, Handel's Messiah and Coronation Anthems, Glorias by Poulenc, Puccini, Rutter and Vivaldi, Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man, Parry and Stanford songs, Gilbert and Sullivan, Kenneth Roberts' Psalmus Britannicus, and of course Christmas carols and music.
In 2008 Bexhill Choral Society was runner up in the Best Community Group section of the Bexhill Achievers Awards. This is our chairwoman, Sue, receiving the award.
