While some ability to read music is advantageous, we welcome people with a range of musical knowledge and experience, and anyone who thinks they might like to sing with us is very welcome to come along and give it a try. You can come and sing with us for a few weeks at no charge (music will be provided) to see how you get on, and decide whether it’s for you.
If you are interested in joining us, and would like a friendly chat, please call our Chairman, Sue Wright, on 01424 213352; otherwise email firstname.lastname@example.org, or use our Contact Page.
Membership subscriptions are currently £92 per year (April to March) - pro rata if joining during the year. Subscriptions may be paid annually in April, or in two instalments in April and September.
We perform 3 concerts during the year, featuring a wide range of choral music. Our concerts usually take place at St. Augustine's Church, Cooden Drive, TN39 3AZ, in May and October, with a Christmas Carol concert in December. The church has a small car park and there is also on-street parking. We also perform some concerts at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill.
Our regular rehearsals are on Wednesdays 7-9 p.m. at St. Martha's Church Hall, Cooden Sea Road, Little Common, TN39 4SL. We rehearse from January to July and from September to December. There is parking in front of the church or a public car park behind the hall, accessed next to Tesco, which is FREE after 6pm.
