Who is Bexhill Choral Society?

We are a friendly, enthusiastic, non-audition choir with around 60 members in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. Under our Director of Music, Kenneth Roberts, we perform three concerts during the year, featuring a wide range of choral music.  Two concerts are generally performed with an orchestra, and the annual Carols & Christmas Music with piano/organ and a brass ensemble.  We rehearse once a week on Wednesday evenings from September to July (with a few weeks' break for Christmas/New Year) and on the afternoon of each concert.
We also organise social events and have a thriving support group of Friends.

We warmly welcome new members who enjoy singing – particularly the lower voices at the moment, but all voices welcome.  It is helpful if you have some ability to follow written music.  If you'd like to find out if Bexhill Choral Society is for you, we would be happy to welcome you to rehearsals for a couple of weeks without charge.  If you'd like to do this, please send us an email and we will be delighted to welcome you.

We rehearse on Wednesdays at 7.00 pm, usually at Little Common Community Centre, Shepherd’s Close, Little Common, Bexhill TN39 4SQ, but on the 4th Wednesday of the month at St Barnabas Church, Sea Rd, Bexhill TN40 1JG.
