Only one day to go before our performance of Mendelssohn's dramatic oratorio 'Elijah' - we hope you will join us for an exciting evening of glorious music at 7.30 pm Saturday 2nd May, at the De La Warr Pavilion Bexhill TN40 1DP,  Accompanied by the Sussex Concert Orchestra conducted by Kenneth Roberts.  

The oratorio is a musical drama, sung in English, bringing to life the Biblical story of Elijah and including drought, fire from heaven, the arrival of longed-for rain, earthquake wind and fire followed by the 'still small voice' of God, and finally Elijah's ascent to heaven by a whirlwind in a fiery chariot!
