Description: Rescheduled October Concert inc 'Iseult' & 'King Arthur'

We are delighted to announce that our October Concert, sadly postponed due to illness, has been rescheduled for Saturday 3 FEBRUARY 2024 at St Barnabas Church, Bexhill.

This exciting concert presents the world premiere of a new oratorio-style piece, Iseult, composed by Bexhill Choral Society’s Director of Music, well-known local musician and composer Kenneth Roberts.  The piece explores the story of Tristan and Isolde (Iseult) but returns to the Celtic roots of the story and tells it from Iseult’s point of view.  It is full of great tunes and drama, and definitely not to be missed!  Arthur Sullivan’s music for King Arthur continues the Celtic and Arthurian theme, while Holst’s moving and poignantly beautiful setting of Psalm 86 and two movements from Roberts’ Flute Concerto round out an evening of rare and lovely music.

Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new date.
However if you do need a refund:
    • if purchased from Second Spin, please return tickets to the shop for refund.
    • if purchased via a choir member please return tickets to that member, who will arrange a refund.
    • If purchased online, Ticketsource should have automatically refunded your ticket - we had to cancel rather than postpone in their system, as we didn’t have a new date until after the concert should have taken place.  We hope you will repurchase for the new date!
